DJ Khaled has been an A-list rap fixture for the better part of a decade, even though he doesn’t really do anything except yell. I have no idea how he keeps lining up big stars for his songs, but he keeps doing it, and now he’s done it again. “They Don’t Love You No More” is a fiery, driven posse cut with a frenetic Meek Mill, an imperious Rick Ross, a hangdog Auto-Tuned French Montana, and a Jay Z who’s determined to extend his low-key all-subliminals beef with Drake. Jay’s latest lines for Drake: “Haters wanna ball, let me tighten up my drawstring / Wrong sport, boy, you know you soft as a lacrosse team.” Does Jay really want to offend the lacrosse demographic? At least here in the mid-Atlantic, that’s got to be a huge chunk of his constituency. Either way, the song is a strong example of the radio-targeted triumphal all-star posse cut, and you can hear it below
